Drinks Menu

As to be expected, there is a strong Japanese theme to the drinks list which includes a selection of sake and Japanese fine whisky (Hibiki, Hakushu and Yamazaki). We also include two types of shochu, a Japanese distilled spirit, Iichiko, the principle ingredient of which is wheat, and Ikkokumono, the principle ingredient of which is sweet potato. Shochu is a very popular drink in Japan at the moment and can be drunk straight, on the rocks, with hot or cold water, or with a mixer such as fruit juice or oolong tea.

Sake Atsukan

Our sake can be served traditionally in a sake bottle, or, for the discerning sake connoisseur, we have a nice selection of fine Japanese sake which can be enjoyed cold to savour the full flavour.

Red and White Wine

Our wine list boasts a wide selection of exceptional Burgundies and fine Chardonnays. The Chardonnays, with their clean taste, complementing the subtle flavours of Japanese cuisine particularly well.

Cocktail

Our original Matsuri cocktails include a selection of Japanese themed drinks including Matsuri-Royal, Samurai and Hinode. Using a range of ingredients such as Calpico, plum wine and sake, these cocktails give you a flavour of Japan.
